Holiday/Winter insanity

Is it just my kids or does this time of year bring out the insanity?? Could it be from the long hours of being couped up in the house do to the chilling wind blowing outside? Could it be the knowledge that Santa is coming in the next few weeks? (although you'd *think* it would put them on their BEST behavior.) My kids are just outa control lately. RJ and her backtalk/sassy attitude has GOT TO GO! MM and her whining are driving me completely nuts. Ah, the joys of the season. It's going to be a long cold winter in this house, I can already tell.
